One more Brazilian as Liverpool attacker
Liverpool Transfer news on Carlos vinicius

Liverpool have been wary of overspending in the transfer market since Jurgen Klopp's arrival.

Liverpool reportedly hold an interest in signing Carlos Vinicius, but their hopes of making a move may come unstuck with Benfica keen to agree new terms including a £107 million buyout clause. While there is no football being played due to the coronavirus pandemic, clubs are still making plans for the future which includes the summer transfer window.

The reds have been above and beyond the best side in the Premier League this season and their rivals are likely to strengthen this summer in order to try and catch Jurgen Klopp's side.

The club has saved face in the previous three transfer windows though, spending no more than £10million on new recruits.

That could be set to change this summer though with first-team players such as Adam Lallana and Xherdan Shaqiri expected to leave.

Liverpool coach will want to bring in replacements with reports suggesting that adding more attacking power is high on his agenda.

Portuguese outlet Record suggest the english club to have a keen interest in Benfica forward Vinicius.

The Brazilian moved to Benfica last summer and has proven to be an instant hint in Liga Nos.

He is the league's top scorer, with 15 awesome goals, while he also averages a record better than a goal per game.

That level of form has attracted interest from around Europe, including from Liverpool.
